Bucktail Ridge
July 31-2 2026
Rus4 command has established a foothold deep in the contested southern valley. Intelligence reports indicate NATO remnants regrouping near Bucktail Ridge — a fortified network of bunkers, supply caches, and hidden artillery. Both sides are mobilizing for what could be the defining battle of the campaign.
Bucktail Ridge is a 40-hour immersive MilSim operation designed to test endurance, teamwork, and adaptability under continuous field conditions. Players will process through a full MEPS simulation, draw ammo, and move as organized units to establish and defend forward operating bases deep within the AO.
In the first war between the states North Central Pennsylvania produced the 49th Pennsylvania Infantry. Known as the Bucktail Regiment. We have been afforded the opportunity to expand into Pennsylvania into the same ground that these legendary sharpshooters lived. Unfortunately there were some issues with ATV and 4wheeler riders at Tall Pines making it unsafe for us to use it during their open season. So after discussions with their staff we are moving the location of the Jericho hill event Renaming it Bucktail Ridge.
What you need to know:

What time: Registration begins at 1200 Friday
Gear check at 1800 Friday
Safety Briefing at 1830 Friday

Endex 1200 Sunday
Exfill Ruck ends at 1330 Sunday
AAR 1400 Sunday
Location: 70 Skunk Hollow Rd, Shinglehouse, PA
Terrain: Infill ruck is more challenging than Barrett. There is 600 ft of elevation from check in and the highest point of the AO. The area is a square about 3/4th of a mile on a side. Infill is about a mile with 400 ft on terrain change. The hillside is littered with old oil derricks and platforms. Like small 150 ft by 30 ft terraces scattered all over the hill. There is also a gas pipeline running through the middle of the AO. The plan is to fight across the terrain there are plenty of trails going across the hill as well as up and down. There are a couple of tight spots where a side by side can go but not a technical. Many of the trails are sizeable enough for a hay wagon and tractor.
Required Equipment: We will be strict with equipment for this event. Most of the injuries and fall outs were from in appropriate foot gear. (no hey dudes, Slippers, Sneakers) the other thing is a backpack with a waist belt. (a hockey bag, duffel bags don’t work) We recommend a frame backpack. You will be sent to the store to get appropriate stuff.

The story: With the conflict still raging at Tall Pines. NATO forces have found a large encampment of Rus4 moving to reinforce those embattled at Barrett Crossing. With tree cover and the large amount of civilian population in the area it makes the use of drone strikes and arial assets unavailable. NATO Command has decided to send in ground assets to address the threat. Hopefully they are up to the task. Rus4 is approaching from the south keeping to draws and valleys away from roads. It will be a hard fight are you up to the task.
This operation has limited player slots. Every ticket includes all ammunition, a custom event patch, and an R&D tourniquet — part of R&D Milsim’s commitment to creating authentic, fully equipped MilSim experiences.
