R&D Crucible Series — An introduction to the Milsim a selection of classes geared towards the skills and equipment needed to sustain yourself in the field. Unlike traditional Milsim events, our series is hosted on smaller properties, featuring minimal hiking and a much more relaxed, approachable format.
This event is perfect for players looking to sharpen their skills and prepare for Larger Milsim events. Our squad and platoon structures bring you a dynamic team experience that emphasizes strategy.
GAMEPLAY
Your team operates as a cohesive military unit, tasked with a range of objectives—securing high-value targets, capturing or defending ground, and executing rapid strikes on small, moveable objectives. The emphasis is always on maintaining strict military discipline, clear chain of command, and tactical flexibility.

Mission Briefing:
Begin with a detailed briefing—objectives, enemy intel, ROE, and comms protocols. Each squad picks a unique call sign and is assigned specific roles. -
Classes:
- Comms, Map Reading, Squad Movement, basic tactics, Familiarization with night vision and thermal, counteracting thermals and night vision, and more

Objective Types:

Ground Control: Secure and hold key terrain features (e.g., crossroads, bunkers).

Mobile Objectives: Intercept or escort convoys, retrieve downed pilots, or seize moveable intel cases.

Dynamic Tasking:
Command can issue real-time updates—redirecting squads to new threats, reinforcing weak points, or exploiting breakthroughs. -
Military Discipline:

Comms: Strict radio discipline, brevity codes, and chain of command.

Movement: Use of tactical formations (wedge, file, bounding overwatch).

Engagement: Fire discipline, coordinated assaults, and clear rules of engagement.

Camping:
Tent Camping is available Friday and Saturday Nights near the pond it is very rustic.
(no electric or Water)
What to Expect:
Players will learn Our Medic Rules, ammo conservation with limited opportunities to reload, radio communication, squad and platoon structure, Bring you night Vision.
Required equipment:
- Eye protection
- Face protection for players under 18.
- Long Pants
- Boots
- Dead rag
- A 22-channel FRS/GMRS radio is required for each player or a Baofeng
- Dead Light
- Tourniquet provided with entry
- up to 7 MidCap mags or Only One HighCap Mag
- no drum mags unless you have a LMG or a MMG
- backpack or way of carrying 4 bottles of water
- green for RusFor or tan NATO, based uniform depending on faction (you can get away with a t shirt and jeans but a uniform is recommended)
