Operation Iron Front

NATO has advanced into the Northern Corridor, forcing RUSFOR units to retreat and regroup in the dense terrain near Tall Pines. Reconnaissance drones have identified fortified positions and entrenched defenses spanning the ridgeline. With limited time before RUSFOR reinforcements arrive, NATO’s strike teams are mobilizing to break through the Iron Front and secure the valley once and for all.

Oak Ridge Redux is a 24HR continuous MilSim operation designed to push player endurance, leadership, and fieldcraft to the limit. Expect long movements, night operations, and sustained missions under realistic conditions.

This event features tiered ticket pricing and includes all BBs, a custom event patch, and an R&D tourniquet — part of R&D Milsim’s commitment to creating authentic, fully equipped military simulation experiences.

Gameplay & Schedule

Duration: Multi-day continuous MilSim operation
Dates: September 25 – 27 2026

FRIDAY

• Gates Open – 16:00

• MEPS Opens – 17:00

• Processing Closes – 20:00

• Event Brief – 20:30
  (Players may sleep in vehicles or off-site Friday night)

SATURDAY

• MEPS Opens – 08:00

• Processing Closes – 11:00

• Event Brief – 11:15

• In-Fill to AO – 11:30

• Engagement Begins – 11:30 (Continuous Operations)

SUNDAY

• Cessation of Military Engagement – 12:00

• Ex-Fill & AAR – 13:00 at Tall Pines Brewery

Field & Camping

The operation takes place at Tall Pines ATV Park — over 1,700 acres of rugged terrain, forest, and ridgelines.
For this event, approximately 200 acres will be active for gameplay, expandable based on player turnout.

Follow R&D signage from the main building to the parking area.
Once you step off the parking zone and into the AO, you must remain on the field until Endex.

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE CAMPING ON THE AO.
Leaving the AO for any reason after step-off ends participation.
All Tall Pines buildings and restricted zones are off-limits.

Early Camping: Free rustic camping available Friday night (in vehicle or off-site).

Vehicles & Equipment

• ATVs permitted (limited number; must follow Tall Pines & R&D rules)

• Drones permitted (for approved reconnaissance use)

• Technical vehicles allowed — contact R&D for coordination and safety approval

• Ammo provided — do NOT bring BBs

• Eye protection (ANSI Z87.1 or higher) required

• Camping gear required for overnight field operations

• Radios highly recommended

• Chrono, eye protection, and engagement distance checks enforced at MEPS.
